Sandy Springs Outdoor Living Addition

Big “blah” to Breathtaking

Location: Sandy Springs

The Challenge

The owners of this Sandy Springs home never used their expansive deck. It was so exposed to the Georgia sun that, much of the year, it was too hot to be comfortable. Not only that, the decking was in poor shape and had the feel of a parking lot or airport runway.

The Solution

A perfect combination of two distinctive outdoor rooms — one covered for daytime use and the other for nighttime enjoyment. The covered pavilion is dedicated to outdoor dining, while the raised stone terrace features a custom gas fire pit surrounded with comfy chairs. The end result is a wonderful outdoor space that provides separate functions while connecting the home to the pool and landscape below.
